Imagine taking a stroll along the west coastline of Sweden. There are slippery cliffs and sandy beaches. The wind carries the scent of the sea. There are seagulls and the occasional old fishing hut. And there would also be about 5 745 pieces of trash along every hundred meters, of which 94% would be plastic.¹ In this day and age, it seems incomprehensible that the world is still struggling to find sustainable solutions which prevent waste and plastics from getting into our waterways and oceans.
Join Håll Sverige Rent and Coca-Cola in Sweden on World Oceans Day for our first Real Talk. We will gather business, NGO’s and experts and take a deep dive into the matter.
Together, we will make a collective effort to come up with more ways in which we can keep waste and plastics out of the ocean and in the loop – and how action on the Swedish shores can make waves all over the globe.
We all have a responsibility to be a part of the solution to prevent this.
We welcome all to join the conversation!
